I purchased this garage for my 4 year old daughter since she loves playing with matchbox cars with dad. She seems to enjoy it very much and likes using the elevator and ramps.
The quality is pretty good for an all plastic toy. I did wind up glueing a couple pieces on that would not stay in place. This was the blue railing pieces on the top of the garage. Now that those pieces are glued in, it is very sturdy and I believe will hold up for a long time. Overall I would recommend this parking garage over others as it is pretty sturdy compared to other plastic ones that just fall apart. |
Not so bad

My 3 year old's biggest wish from Santa was a parking garage. I could not find the matchbox garage available at a realistic price so I tried this one after much hesitation from the reviews. It is wonderful! Besides a ramp coming apart occasionally (which my son can pop right back in), the quality is better than I expected. Is the quality worth this price - not so much, but it is used A LOT so yes, it was very worth it.
Junk!

For such an expensive toy, one would think that this playset would be durable and high quality. Not so! After having assembled competing products from Fisher-Price, etc, I can easily tell that this is a flimsy playset that won't last very long in a house of rambunctious kids. None of the parts screw together, they're all snap-in, and while that makes assembly easy, the ramps pop off with barely any effort. It has a vaguely Euro-feel to it, but it's made in China just like the rest of the toys in this genre, and cheaply, too! Don't waste your money (especially with the high shipping fee)!

bought this for my son he loved the toy but it is not very sturdy and i was afraid that he was going to break it if he put any pressure on it at all. I sent it back and i am waiting for my refund.
Huge hit, but broke immediately

Was thrilled to support my son's nursery school fundraiser by purchasing toys via Constructive Playthings and give back to the school, and even more excited to give this garage to my son for his birthday. Turned out to be a bummer when the knob to the elevator broke off almost immediately and cannot be re-attached - the fun part was basically over. Paper parking spots were flimsy as were the blue plastic guard railings - the plastic ramps do not stay in place well and everything overall comes apart way to easily even for the most careful of young boys - and my son is not a toy breaker....so, I would pass on this one and I have written a complaint to the toy company....
